The Life & Times of an Ousted Editor [Apr. 9]

Sally Koslow, the former EIC of McCall's, who stepped down from her lofty perch in 2001 to make way for Rosie O'Donnell and McCall's re-birth as Rosie magazine, has written a book fictionalizing (detailing) her experience called Little Pink Slips (Putnum), which comes out in stores in 2 days. We can't wait to get our hands on this one...

In the novel, Magnolia Gold, editor of Lady magazine, is cast aside into a roach-infested office to make room for Bebe Blake, a tv personality re-casting the magazine as "Bebe."

--Wait, isn't one of Rosie's adopted sons name BLAKE? Oh my. Not cool, Koslow.

We wonder if Rosie will have any reaction to it on The View. We'll keep a close watch and post the YouTube link...
